DMSi’s journey in Australia-New Zealand began with Sterland Brothers Timber Supplies, a company serving the building trades for over a century.
In the 1980s, Sterland Brothers commissioned a specialised ERP to support their unique processes, enabling better service to more customers in less time. When other suppliers wanted to purchase this system, Sterland Computing was born. Sterland quickly became the leading software partner for trade suppliers in the region with solutions like Stix, ProStix, and Frameworks.
In 2018, a chance meeting brought Sterland together with DMSi Software, another independent company focused exclusively on trade suppliers. DMSi was impressed with Frameworks, and both companies recognised the potential for the ERP in the American market.
Inspired by common values and a shared vision for the future, the companies decided to join forces as one organisation, DMSi.
